![]() ![]() If you want a resort that you can stay and spend a lot of time hanging out on premises, then IMO this is not your place…just not enough to do and you’re being charged for it anyway. So if you want a great location in Key West that is easily walkable to most places, clean and nice, and you don’t mind the extra cost of being at a “resort”, then this is a great place. I questioned it and they offered free breakfast (which is really free because I’m not going to stiff the servers), and a couple of free drinks at the bar, which we did not go to anymore. I’ve been to resorts where I can see why they charge a separate resort fee…I just couldn’t see it here. Not enough activities or other events to justify the charge. I just don’t think you get enough in “services” to charge this. This seems ridiculous in my opinion because this is a charge for providing the resort services. We had two rooms so for 4 nights, the resort fee was about $500. One of the biggest issues I had was the resort fee charge on top of the cost of staying here. ![]() Bar prices are about what you’d expect for a resort…on the higher side. They told us it would be open until 8, and the original hours stated pool bar open until 11. We arrived at pool around 6:30, and they started closing the bar about 10 minutes later. We arrive around 5 and looked forward to just relaxing by pool to start and having a few drinks. The Not-So-Good: Services provided and things to do.
